This Earth Month, we are highlighting key renewable energy and climate developments in Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to show that, even while climate progress lags on the federal level, meaningful change can still be made locally and state-wide. We encourage our members to voice their support for the clean energy legislation and programs outlined below:
The 2024 election raised many questions and concerns about the present and future of renewable energy. Federal support for clean energy has been replaced by support for fossil fuels, shifting the responsibility of transitioning to renewable energy to state and local governments.
