
How the EPA Eliminated Its Own Ability to Fight Climate Change
On July 29, 2025, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) released a highly controversial report challenging the well-established scientific consensus on the severity and impacts of global warming. The 151-page document, titled “A Critical Review of Impacts of Greenhouse Gas Emissions on the U.S. Climate,” aims to accelerate fossil fuel deployment while restricting climate science and undermining climate change mitigation efforts.
